About the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC)

The convention center, named for former Boston mayor Thomas M. Menino, is the central hub of AMP 2025 activity.

It features free wireless Internet access, soundproofing to keep extraneous noise from interrupting meeting activity, and abundant natural light.

The following AMP 2025 events will be held at the MCEC:

  • Scientific sessions
  • Corporate workshops
  • Networking lunches
  • Welcome reception
  • AMP Central (booth)
  • Business & Awards Meeting

The MCEC is an eight-minute taxi ride from Logan Airport. It is accessible via the MBTA subway system (the Silver Line’s World Trade Center stop), and a 15-minute walk from South Station for attendees taking Amtrak or bus services.

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is the official AMP headquarter hotel, conveniently located just across the street from the MCEC. Situated near downtown, historic Boston Harbor, and just a few miles from Logan Airport, the hotel serves as the second half of AMP 2025’s meeting space. In addition to covered access to the MCEC, the hotel hosts:

  • Ancillary events

Both the MCEC and the Omni Hotel are located in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood, one of the city’s up-and-coming locales.
